We bring you the footage of the first lion cubs in the history of the Zlín Zoo, as well as the revelation of the very first rescue center for lions in the Czech Republic!
In June 2024, we begun the construction of the rescue center, a much-needed facility. Lions confiscated from private breeders due to the poor living conditions or illegal breeding are going to find a shelter there, among our lion family of five.
You can become a part of their unique story, giving lions a new chance! All you have to do is to purchase a donation brick or a donation certificate in our e-shop. The bricks themselves, having the names of the donors engraved, will be used to build a special gratitude walkway leading to the center. This way, you will literally become a memorable part of the center.
