Jaguar Family Together for the First Time!
We are very excited. Akabo, Yuna, and their cub met together for the first time last week in the indoor enclosure.
We have another video for you from the jaguars. After gradually introducing them through a mesh barrier, we let Akabo into the enclosure with Yuna and their little female cub for the first time. The cub was born on June 11, now weighs 4.5 kg, and Yuna already has her hands full keeping an eye on her :) The introduction went smoothly, and the footage shows mutual interest under Yuna’s watchful supervision. If everything goes according to plan, our little jaguar princess will explore the outdoor enclosure in August.
