The baby tiger roams it’s outdoor habitat fearlessly

With a bit of luck, you can already see the cub of our siberian tigers in the outdoor enclosure!

This week, we have provided our tigress, Samba, and her baby, a chance to visit their outdoor enclosure for the first time since the cubs birth in May. In the mornings, the family is free to roam it. Later in the afternoon, they will be placed back into the inner facility, so the proud father Youryi can enjoy the summer weather outdoors as well.

At this point, everything is new for the little tiger. It has to explore everything thoroughly and slowly and that is the reason he prefers to stay in the upper part of the exhibit, near the rocks. It let’s Samba to take the reins and show it around for now, whilst getting used to such simple things as feeling dew on grass.

We keep monitoring the inner enclosure for visitors to watch the young family on the screen next to the exhibit. The baby is getting more and more adventurous tho so it can wander to a distant area of the breeding facility, making it unable to be seen for a while.

In this video, you can watch the first baby steps of the cub outdoor ?
